The Dallas Police Department is still searching for a suspect in a recent child sexual assault case. Investigators have released a new sketch as they urge the public to help with their search.

The Dallas Express initially reported a sexual assault of a child that happened on January 1 around 5 p.m. Per the news report, the suspect allegedly assaulted the victim in the 17800 block of Campbell Road.

Footage from a surveillance camera shows the suspect walking two small dogs. She was later seen driving a red car.

According to CBS 11 News, Police describe the suspect as a black female 30 to 40 years of age, with long blonde braided hair. According to the department, the suspect was wearing a dark-colored skirt and coat at the time of the offense.

The Dallas Police Department is urging anyone who knows the whereabouts of the suspect or has any information that will help officers in the assault case to reach out to the Child Exploitation Unit of the department. Informants can contact the unit through Detective Richard Valencia at 214-671-4339.

Tipsters can also contact Crime Stoppers through 214-373-TIPS (8477) to submit anonymous tips. Anyone with helpful information that leads to the arrest and indictment of the suspect could earn a reward of up to $5000. Tips can be called in around the clock daily.
