Miranda Lambert is returning to Dallas-Fort Worth for “The Bandwagon Tour,” with Little Big Town and The Cadillac Three in tow.

Lambert has made stops in the metroplex often within the past few years. Last year, she helped Billy Bob’s in Fort Worth celebrate its fortieth anniversary. She was also honored at Dickies Arena with an induction into the National Cowgirl Museum and Hall of Fame last October.

Born and raised in Longview, Texas, Miranda is familiar with North Texas.

Lambert spent several days and nights creating the Marfa Tapes with co-writers, collaborators, and fellow Texans Jack Ingram and Jon Randall. The collaborative, Grammy-nominated album was recorded in a unique fashion, with just two microphones and two acoustic guitars. The trio took a risk, recording the album in the open desert of Marfa, Texas.

The songs have a raw, unpolished feel, and the sounds of the wind, casual conversations, cows, and the crackling campfire can be heard in the background. The musicians documented the five-day recording process of the unique album, and made it into a short film.

Lambert again chose Texas as the first place to show her documentary masterpiece to a broad audience at the Lone Star Film Festival in Fort Worth back in November, and now The Marfa Tapes Film will be featured on Paramount+ starting January 20.

Miranda Lambert previously came to Dallas back in 2018 for the first part of The Bandwagon Tour at the American Airlines Center. Calling the tour one of the most fun tours [she’s] ever done,” this time, Lambert will take the stage outside at Dos Equis Pavillion on Saturday, May 7, as a part of her twenty-four city tour

Tickets go on sale starting Tuesday, January 11 at 10 a.m. CST for “Ran Fan” and Citicard members. The remaining tickets go on sale on January 14 at Livenation.com for most venues, excluding Houston. The Houston concert tickets will be available for purchase beginning January 21.
