According to the jail report, Xi remained in custody as of Friday. Details surrounding the alleged murder have not yet been released, and records indicate that the warrants tied to Xi’s charges are still being processed.

In an email to The Dallas Express, Stacy Denny, a criminal support clerk with the Collin County District Clerk’s Office, said the warrants have not yet been filed publicly because they have not been received from the jail’s Records and Warrants Department.

“We have already sent over a request for them to be located and sent to us via inner office mail as of this morning. This usually takes a few days because we are not located in the same building and mail does not get transferred during the weekends,” Denny said. She added that the documents might become publicly available by next week.

Officials from the City of Allen confirmed that the case is being investigated by its police department but declined to release further details due to the ongoing nature of the investigation. “At this time, I can confirm that this is a case being investigated by the Allen Police Department. Due to this being an active investigation, we are unable to comment further at this time,” said Sammy Rippamonti, public information officer for the department.

As of Friday afternoon, Xi had not been released, and his court filings were pending with the district clerk’s office.
