DroneArt Show: A Music Concert and Drone Show is landing on The Lawn at the OC in Forney.
The self-described longest touring drone show ever will feature over 500 unmanned aerial vehicles overhead, choreographed to live performances of Vivaldi’s The Four Seasons and Tchaikovsky’s Swan Lake.
“As night falls, hundreds of illuminated drones take off and create stunning shapes in the sky, moving in time with live classical music,” reads a description of the touring event, which has sold more than half a million tickets globally.
In addition to Dallas, the drone show will be descending on Los Angeles, Tampa, New Orleans, and Phoenix. Outside the U.S., the tour will also visit Naples, Italy, and Perth, Australia.
The entire experience lasts 65 minutes, with the drones airborne for roughly 45 minutes of continuous flight. The show will combine classical music from live performers, state-of-the-art UAV tech, and immersive storytelling.
Expect impressive displays, with twinkling stars, blooming flowers, and more.
“Forget everything you know about concerts. The DroneArt Show merges cutting-edge drone technology with iconic music in a way that has amazed audiences across the globe. As hundreds of drones dance above you in perfect synchronization, you’ll be transported into a world where art and innovation meet under the stars,” reads the event’s release.
Attendees to the event are encouraged to arrive early to enjoy on-site food and beverage options. Arriving early also gives you a better chance to secure a prime spot for the show.
“Well organized. Music and musicians were great and the drone art was stunning. Thought it was a great event,” read one review from July.
While the VIP experience is already sold out, tickets remain available for both Picnic Areas, with prices starting at $48.90.
The show takes place on November 1 at 7:30 p.m., but doors open two hours prior. Late entry after the show kicks off is not permitted.
