Milo Yiannopoulos has announced he will continue his campus speaking tour, despite doctors investigating a possible brain tumor.
The 41-year-old writer and commentator revealed the health scare in a post on X on October 18, telling followers that doctors had found “a dark spot, black as sin” on his MRI. Yiannopoulos said he had been experiencing “monstrous headaches,” fainting spells, and blurred vision.
I am 41, and the doctor thinks I have a brain tumor. I’ve been passing out a lot lately. Monstrous headaches. My vision is unpredictably bad. I’m not hungry—and I’m always, always hungry. Tingly fingers. The works. And of course I’ve been ignoring these symptoms for months. Or is…

Yiannopoulos added that while the diagnosis was not yet confirmed, he planned to undergo another MRI and see a specialist in the coming days. “Something is in there that shouldn’t be,” he said, before asking supporters to pray that “Our Lord… spirit this thing away, so I can get back to work, like I promised.”
The self-described provocateur, who first rose to prominence in the mid-2010s as a Breitbart editor and college speaker, announced last month that he would return to the stage following the assassination of Turning Point USA founder Charlie Kirk. His post on X declaring, “Alright. I am un-retiring,” came just hours after Kirk was shot and killed.
Yiannopoulos said he wanted to host “open-air events on US campuses this fall,” reviving the confrontational campus format that defined his earlier career, according to a September story from The Dallas Express.
Later on October 18, he joked about the health scare:
Can’t believe I thought I was 42 today when I’m 41. How does that even happen? Must be the cancer.

He also reflected on the online reaction to his announcement:
Most of you know this. But in case you don’t: Should anything bad ever happen to you, you will discover that all the supposedly hateful, mean, vile and awful people on the internet are in fact total bros and absolute sweethearts, while the “nice” people are nowhere to be found.

Yiannopoulos shared a screenshot of one response he received:

Despite the health concerns, Yiannopoulos told followers he intends to press forward with his tour, which he described as a return to the frontlines of the campus speech wars that once made him a cultural flashpoint.
