A new installment of The Dallas Express’s “Dirty John” series reveals a grim pattern in Denton County, where the latest batch of alleged offenders is overwhelmingly tied to sexual crimes involving minors.
At least four of the five men featured in this iteration face allegations related to indecency with a child, child pornography, or online solicitation of minors, according to booking information obtained from the Denton County Sheriff’s Office mobile app.
Frank Zarate

Zarate, a 21-year-old from Denton County, was booked on allegations of indecency with a child and drug possession with intent to deliver. He remains in custody with no listed release date.

This month’s update to Dirty John underscores the continued scourge of alleged sex crimes against children committed by adults in Denton County. Each of the men remains presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
