Dallas Sports Network’s latest episode, “Cowboys: America’s Favorite Roller Coaster,” dives into the highs and lows of a season that has tested Dallas Cowboys fans.

Host Chris Yates led the program with guests Mark Elfenbein, Will “Hollywood” Koberg, Jamie Kelton, and Scooter Magruder. The panel did not hold back in describing the team’s struggles. Magruder called the latest performance “despicable, disgusting, and honestly, nefandis.” Kelton questioned the decision to risk using CeeDee Lamb in a game against Chicago, noting that the star receiver is now sidelined for weeks.

The group agreed the offense looked shaky without Lamb, and the defense gave up too many big plays. Magruder said fans could see the “gloom and doom” in his live reaction video to the game.

Former Cowboys great Michael Irvin joined the conversation with a memorable comparison. He cited an old Kentucky Fried Chicken slogan — “We do one thing and we do it right” — to argue that players should focus on their strengths. Irvin used the line to criticize the play call that put Lamb in harm’s way.

The episode also drew from the archives, featuring Jim Mora’s famous rant, giving fans another reason to laugh or cringe. Tweets added more context, including one that joked the Cowboys’ defense did not play as well as a bag of Cheetos. Others warned against panic trades and questioned the team’s playoff outlook.

The Cowboys may remain unpredictable, but DSN says the drama is part of the ride. Watch the full episode here: Cowboys: America’s Favorite Roller Coaster.
