Late Tuesday night, a man was fatally shot near a Pleasant Grove apartment complex.
According to police, the shooter fled the scene before first responders arrived at the scene. The suspect is still at large.
Dallas police, responding to reports of a shooting, arrived at the 9400 block of Bruton Road, close to North St. Augustine Road, around 10 p.m. yesterday.
There, they discovered a man with at least one bullet wound, although it is not clear how many times he was shot.
The man was transported to a hospital, where he later died from his injuries. His identity remains unknown to the public.
The investigation is ongoing.
