Texas authorities have added a known Crips gang member to the state’s 10 Most Wanted Fugitives List following a fatal shooting in Lubbock last month.

Kendrick Kevon Taylor, 23, was out on parole for aggravated robbery when he allegedly killed an 18-year-old male.

The Texas Department of Public Safety announced that Texas Crime Stoppers is offering up to $7,500 for information leading to Taylor’s arrest. The parolee has evaded capture since the August shooting, prompting state officials to elevate the manhunt.

Taylor, who goes by “Skrilla,” has been wanted since August 23 for murder. The Texas Board of Pardons and Paroles issued an additional warrant for parole violation on August 26.

The fugitive stands 5 feet 8 inches tall and weighs approximately 155 pounds. He has distinctive tattoos on his face, neck, and chest, as well as scars on his abdomen and right leg.

Texas Crime Stoppers, funded by the Governor’s Public Safety Office, maintains strict anonymity for all tipsters. The program has helped capture 49 fugitives this year, including 18 sex offenders and 12 criminal illegal immigrants, paying out $37,000 in rewards.

Anyone with information can contact authorities through three anonymous channels: calling 1-800-252-TIPS (8477), submitting tips through the DPS website, or using the Texas 10 Most Wanted Facebook page. All tipsters receive a reference number instead of providing their names.

DPS investigators collaborate with local law enforcement to select fugitives for the state’s most wanted lists. The current roster includes fugitives, sex offenders, and criminal illegal immigrants considered the most dangerous in Texas.
