On Monday, four people were arrested after leading Mesquite police on a high-speed chase.
The pursuit occurred on January 3, ending about five miles away in Dallas in the 6100 block of Greenmere Place in Pleasant Grove.
According to Mesquite police, around 1:45 a.m., they attempted to make a traffic stop at Samuell and Big Town Boulevards, but the vehicle took off, leading them on a chase.
Police arrested three passengers in the vehicle; the driver fled on foot but was arrested a short time later. The vehicle was confiscated and sent to the impound.
Information regarding why the car was stopped, the identities of the individuals in custody, or any charges faced has not been released.
No injuries were reported in the incident.
