Texas authorities have added a Honduran man to the state’s Most Wanted list after a deadly weekend shooting at a Liberty County bar left two dead and four wounded.
Jose Osman Aguilar Cantillano, 32, allegedly opened fire early Sunday morning at a Colony Ridge establishment.
The Texas Department of Public Safety announced the addition to its 10 Most Wanted Criminal Illegal Immigrants List on Wednesday. Texas Crime Stoppers is offering up to $7,500 for information leading to Aguilar Cantillano’s arrest.
Liberty County Sheriff’s deputies responded to the bar shooting around 2 a.m. on September 7. They discovered six victims with gunshot wounds; two later died from their injuries.
Aguilar Cantillano faces murder charges in connection with the killings. The suspect, who stands 5-foot-8 and weighs approximately 180 pounds, has ties to both Liberty and Harris counties.
His Texas criminal record stretches back nearly a decade. Previous arrests include assault causing bodily injury to a family member in 2016 and multiple driving while intoxicated charges.
The state’s Most Wanted program has nabbed 49 fugitives so far in 2025. Among those arrested were 18 sex offenders and 12 criminal illegal immigrants, with $37,000 paid out in reward money.
Anyone with information about Aguilar Cantillano’s whereabouts should contact Crime Stoppers at 1-800-252-TIPS. Tips can also be submitted through the DPS website or Facebook page—all tips remain anonymous.
The shooting marks another violent incident in Colony Ridge, a sprawling development that has drawn scrutiny over crime concerns and its large population of illegal aliens.
State investigators are working with local law enforcement to track down the suspect.
