The incident occurred around 6 a.m. on August 19, 2025, in the 5300 block of South Cockrell Hill Road in Southwest Dallas.
The search intensifies as the injured driver remains hospitalized with serious bodily injuries. Police hope distinctive markings on the suspect’s truck will lead to a quick identification.
According to investigators, the 18-wheeler was traveling northbound when it struck another vehicle. The truck driver fled the scene without stopping to render aid.
