Videos from the American Muslims for Palestine (AMP) conference are resurfacing on X, drawing criticism from conservatives who say the footage shows activists promoting extremist rhetoric and disruptive protest tactics.

One clip appeared to show activists discussing plans to “take over America,” with references to “martyrdom.” Commentator Eyal Yakoby posted the video on X, writing, “At the American Muslims for Palestine conference, they openly discussed their plans to take over America, including through ‘martyrdom’ (Suicide bombings, stabbings, etc.). America must wake up.”

The clip, which has been viewed more than 460,000 times, also shows activists urging disruptive tactics. “We have to escalate our actions… shut down their streets, their bridges, their airports,” activist Mohammed Nabulsi said, while calling for protests targeting weapons manufacturers and occupying buildings.

Attendees also voiced support for progressive lawmakers. Democrat Rep. Rashida Tlaib (D-MI) told the crowd, “We are gonna move Congress and we are gonna move the White House!” which drew loud applause.

Conservatives reacted strongly online.

One commenter wrote, “America is being taken advantage of by Islam aligned with radical anti-Christian/anti-Jewish leftist & the dupes they convince that Islam is just another ‘great & peaceful religion.’ It is not, & their long view is Jihad – convert or die. Wake up! They tell you what they are doing!”

Former Muslims also expressed concern. Ex-Muslim and Christian Ramin Parsa wrote on X, “The entire Middle East and North Africa used to be Christians and Jewish. Islamists conquered them by sword, mass executions, forced conversions, colonized, and now are set to do the same with Europe and North America.”

AMP and Rep. Tlaib have not publicly responded to the resurfaced footage.
