Five Garland City Council members are hosting town hall meetings across the city this summer and fall, offering residents opportunities to learn about library renovations, rezoning plans, and infrastructure projects.
The town halls provide direct access to elected officials and updates on neighborhood-specific issues. Each district representative has tailored their agenda to address local concerns.

Joe Thomas follows on August 6 at 6:30 p.m. with a District 7 meeting at Holford Recreation Center, 2314 Homestead Place. His agenda focuses on the upcoming city-initiated rezoning of Holford Road.
Ed Moore’s District 3 town hall on August 14 at 6 p.m. will cover Dallas Area Rapid Transit and public safety updates. The meeting takes place at South Garland Library, 4845 Broadway Blvd.
