A man stabbed on Brantley Street in late July has died, pushing the city’s homicide count for the month to 15 confirmed cases, according to the Dallas Police Department.
Officers responded around 1:20 a.m. on July 25 to the 3300 block of Brantley Street and found a man suffering from a stab wound. He was taken to a hospital, where he died on July 27. Police are investigating the death as a homicide under case number 107422-2025. No suspect information has been released.
This latest fatality caps one of the most violent months Dallas has seen in 2025, with a span of just 27 days yielding 15 killings involving shootings, stabbings, and even a vehicular homicide. Victims have ranged from teenagers to senior citizens. Multiple suspects have been arrested, while others remain unidentified.
