A major drug bust in South Dallas resulted in the seizure of large quantities of illegal narcotics, a firearm, and the arrest of a parole violator, according to Dallas Police.
On June 17, Dallas SWAT officers executed two simultaneous search warrants in the 2100 and 2200 blocks of Aspen Drive. The operation was led by the department’s Special Investigations Division (SID), which had previously identified both homes as suspected drug houses.

“This operation was the result of focused police work aimed at dismantling criminal activity at its core,” said Assistant Chief Catrina M. Shead. “We are devoted to ridding our neighborhoods of violent crime and dangerous drugs.”
Police arrested 31-year-old Deshyne Williams, who now faces charges of Manufacture and Delivery of a Controlled Substance as well as a parole violation related to prior drug trafficking offenses.
