ICE agents have continued to lock down on Houston this week, arresting more illegal aliens moments after their asylum cases were dismissed – regardless of the impending rumblings of radical riots online.

The arrests come after multiple other “protests” have been allegedly scheduled in the upcoming week by radical organizations like FIEL throughout the Houston area, according to reports from fringe social media pages as well as a report from The Houston Chronicle.

Agents were seen again Wednesday outside the Greenspoint Park Immigration Court, just a day after six illegal aliens were taken into custody by ICE officers outside different courthouses throughout the Houston area, as previously covered by The Dallas Express.

Under President Joe Biden’s prior policies, some of the illegal aliens arrested this week would likely have been released with court dates months or years into the future, a practice that has been widely criticized in the past as “Catch and Release.”

Now, the Department of Homeland Security under Secretary Kristi Noem has issued new rules revoking parole for anyone who illegally entered the United States in the last two years.

A DHS statement obtained by NBC 5 shed a bit more light on the upcoming immigration policies under Trump, saying:

Secretary Noem is reversing Biden’s catch and release policy that allowed millions of unvetted illegal aliens to be let loose on American streets. This Administration is once again implementing the rule of law.

Most aliens who illegally entered the United States within the past two years are subject to expedited removals. Biden ignored this legal fact and chose to release millions of illegal aliens, including violent criminals, into the country with a notice to appear before an immigration judge. ICE is now following the law and placing these illegal aliens in expedited removal, as they always should have been.

If they have a valid credible fear claim, they will continue in immigration proceedings, but if no valid claim is found, aliens will be subject to a swift deportation.

Notably, the nonprofit FIEL organization’s credibility has come under fire: Attorney General Ken Paxton filed a lawsuit last year alleging the group violated federal nonprofit laws by campaigning against conservative legislation and essentially demonizing other politicians with a weird spectrum of prior smear campaigns.

With more arrests of illegal aliens potentially expected in the upcoming week, Houston appears to be another key front in a national crackdown on illegal immigration under President Trump.
