The 2025 NFL Draft has officially arrived.

All 32 teams in the NFL are set to make a first-round selection beginning tonight at 7 p.m. at Lambeau Field in Green Bay, Wisconsin.

There is seemingly little consensus on potential prospects for the vast majority of teams leading into the draft’s first night, meaning there could be significant movement once the night begins.

Although it is unlikely that every team will remain in the same spot throughout the first round, this mock draft contains no trades.

Without further ado, The Dallas Express’ final First Round Mock Draft has arrived:

  1. Tennessee Titans
    • Cam Ward, Quarterback, Miami
      • Ward is the clear choice with the first overall pick, and this selection should not take long. Tennessee is desperate for stability at quarterback, and Ward is the best option with the first pick. Ward possesses the physical tools and mindset to immediately impact the Titans in his rookie season.
  2. Cleveland Browns
    • Travis Hunter, Cornerback/Wide Receiver, Colorado
      • Cleveland is another team that is desperate for stability at quarterback, but the intrigue of Hunter is too much due to his ability to play both ways. Hunter would grade as the top cornerback and wide receiver in this draft, and Cleveland will be hard-pressed to pass him up. All signs point to the Browns shying away from a quarterback with this selection and choosing either Hunter or Abdul Carter.
  3. New York Giants
    • Abdul Carter, Edge, Penn State
      • Carter has an argument for the title as the best player in the entire draft, and New York manages to pick him up with the third overall pick. Based on the current roster, defensive line help is not a specific need for New York, but adding a dynamic pass rusher in Carter can supercharge a defense in a division filled with talented quarterbacks.
  4. New England Patriots
    • Will Campbell, Offensive Tackle, LSU
      • New England needs to find help along the offensive line to protect Drake Maye, and this decision came down to a few potential options. Campbell should be an immediate starter at left tackle after spending his LSU career being dominant at the position. There are concerns about Campbell’s arm length, but that should not dissuade the Patriots from taking him at fourth overall.
  5. Jacksonville Jaguars
    • Mason Graham, Defensive Tackle, Michigan
      • There has been a lot of noise in recent days about the Jaguars targeting Ashton Jeanty, but improving the defensive line is also a big priority for this team. Graham stands out as the best interior defender in this draft class and will quickly improve the group for Jacksonville.
  6. Las Vegas Raiders
    • Ashton Jeanty, Running Back, Boise State
      • Basically every member of this franchise understands the importance of a solid run game, and Jeanty just falls into the Raiders’ lap at sixth overall. Adding Jeanty into the offense behind Geno Smith and Brock Bowers will create a dynamic and sneaky impressive offensive unit heading into next season.
  7. New York Jets
    • Armand Membou, Offensive Tackle, Missouri
      • New York has a hole to fill at right tackle following the departure of Morgan Moses in free agency, with Membou slotting perfectly into that spot in his rookie season. Membou spent his entire collegiate career at right tackle and should be a solid option from the start, with the potential to become a franchise-level tackle with the right development.
  8. Carolina Panthers
    • Jalon Walker, Linebacker, Georgia
      • Walker is an explosive linebacker who will thrive at the line of scrimmage. Although he still has some improvements to make in pass coverage, his physical tools are evident. Walker being dropped into a struggling defense should add some juice to pressure opposing quarterbacks.
  9. New Orleans Saints
    • Mykel Williams, Edge, Georgia
      • Saints Head Coach Kellen Moore understands the importance of a disruptive defensive line and chooses to go with a player who has shot up the board in recent weeks. Williams is already one of the best run defenders in the class and could quickly develop into a disruptive pass rusher as well.
  10. Chicago Bears
    • Tyler Warren, Tight End, Penn State
      • Warren being mocked to Chicago is one of the most consistent predictions available because it makes so much sense. New Bears Head Coach Ben Johnson consistently utilized his tight ends while in Detroit and invests in a dynamic pass-catching tight end with Warren.
  11. San Francisco 49ers
    • Kelvin Banks Jr., Offensive Tackle, Texas
      • San Francisco must plan for both the upcoming season at guard and the eventual departure of Trent Williams at left tackle, with Banks filling both of those roles. Banks is an athletic prospect who can begin his career on the interior line before eventually taking over for Williams at left tackle, where he spent his entire collegiate career.
  12. Dallas Cowboys
    • Tetairoa McMillan, Wide Receiver, Arizona
      • Dallas is looking to add another playmaker, and McMillan would be a perfect fit alongside Ceedee Lamb at wide receiver. The two players’ styles should complement each other well and provide Dak Prescott with more than enough options to produce a consistently explosive offense.
  13. Miami Dolphins
    • Jahdae Barron, Cornerback, Texas
      • The Dolphins are looking to trade Jalen Ramsey and must fill that hole at the cornerback position, with the team managing to select the first cornerback in the draft at the same time. Barron is a versatile player who can line up at multiple spots in the secondary, making him an intriguing chess piece for any team looking to make drastic defensive improvements.
  14. Indianapolis Colts
    • Colston Loveland, Tight End, Michigan
      • Indianapolis has a major hole at tight end and even considered trading up to snag Warren before the Bears in this scenario. However, Loveland was widely regarded as the top tight end prospect before last season and should be an immediate impact piece on offense in his rookie season.
  15. Atlanta Falcons
    • Mike Green, Edge, Marshall
      • Atlanta chooses to add yet another piece to a defensive line that struggled to pressure opposing quarterbacks last season. Green dominated collegiate football and possesses a strong combination of size and speed at the position, giving him a solid floor with a high ceiling if given time to develop.
  16. Arizona Cardinals
    • Tyler Booker, Offensive Guard, Alabama
      • The Cardinals have reportedly been trying to improve the interior defensive line all offseason and now have a chance to select the top guard prospect in the class. Although he is not the most athletic prospect, Booker is the best true guard in the draft and already has many of the techniques necessary to thrive early in his career.
  17. Cincinnati Bengals
    • Walter Nolen, Defensive Tackle, Ole Miss
      • Nolen has been flying up the draft boards in recent weeks and could end up being selected earlier than this, but Cincinnati has a chance to take one of the top prospects at a position of need. Cincinnati would probably prefer to select an edge with this pick to get ahead of the eventual departure of Trey Hendrickson, but Nolen is a special player who can step into a starting role early in his career.
  18. Seattle Seahawks
    • Grey Zabel, Offensive Guard, NDSU
      • Zabel is one of the few players in this draft who fits perfectly with a franchise, as he could fill one of the various needs on the offensive line for the Seahawks. Seattle has holes at both guard and center and will likely look to improve the group in the first round, which is a perfect landing spot for a player who bounced around various spots on the offensive line during his time at North Dakota State.
  19. Tampa Bay Buccaneers
    • Malaki Starks, Safety, Georgia
      • Yet another Georgia player comes off the board in the first round as Tampa Bay selects Starks to become the team’s safety of the future. Starks is incredibly smart and has incredible ball skills in the secondary, making him the perfect option to slot in as the Buccaneers’ free safety.
  20. Denver Broncos
    • Luther Burden III, Wide Receiver, Missouri
      • The Broncos manage to stay at the 20th pick and still pick up the second receiver in the first round, who will immediately become the team’s top receiving option in his rookie season. Denver is reportedly looking at trading Courtland Sutton and will rely heavily on the explosive Burden next year.
  21. Pittsburgh Steelers
    • Shedeur Sanders, Quarterback, Colorado
      • Sanders’ slide down the first round finally comes to an end with Pittsburgh picking up the second quarterback in the class. Sanders slides but falls to a spot that will be a much smoother transition into the NFL, with multiple receivers and a solid defense being used to help assist him in his rookie season. Although Pittsburgh must improve the offensive line, locking down the potential quarterback of the future with the 21st pick of the draft is a home run selection.
  22. Los Angeles Chargers
    • Matthew Golden, Wide Receiver, Texas
      • The Chargers were debating between Golden and Emeka Egbuka with this selection, but Golden’s clear ability to play outside will make him a perfect fit with Ladd McConkey. Golden has shown explosive tendencies and impressive route running, which should help him see touches as a rookie.
  23. Green Bay Packers
    • Shemar Stewart, Edge, Texas A&M
      • The Packers would likely sprint this selection to the stage if possible. Green Bay loves athletic pass rushers from big schools and Stewart tested as the most athletic rusher in years, making him a seemingly perfect fit for this franchise. Stewart still has to improve his technique in the pass rush to consistently get to the quarterback, but he has all the physical tools needed to be one of the best defensive linemen in the league.
  24. Minnesota Vikings
    • Will Johnson, Cornerback, Michigan
      • Minnesota fills an immediate need and manages to pick up a player who many expected would be a top-15 pick heading into the most recent college season. Johnson was a little inconsistent last season and dealt with injuries almost all year, but he still can be a lockdown outside corner who could become a starter in his rookie season.
  25. Houston Texans
    • Josh Simmons, Offensive Tackle, Ohio State
      • Houston considered a trade to move up and secure Simmons but chose to remain at the same spot and still got one of the best tackle prospects in the draft. Simmons was one of the most highly regarded offensive linemen in this draft before getting injured in his final season. Houston was desperate for a left tackle after trading away Laremy Tunsil, and Simmons will likely be a starter almost immediately after he is fully healthy.
  26. Los Angeles Rams
    • Trey Amos, Cornerback, Ole Miss
      • Los Angeles continues adding to a young and explosive defense with the selection of Amos. An experienced cornerback, Amos should fit in well with this system.
  27. Baltimore Ravens
    • Donovan Ezeiruaku, Edge, Boston College
      • Ezeiruaku is slightly undersized at defensive end but already has many of the techniques and pass-rush moves to beat experienced tackles at the next level. Baltimore adds to the defensive line and picks up one of the more athletic pass rushers in this entire draft.
  28. Detroit Lions
    • James Pearce Jr., Edge, Tennessee
      • Detroit struggled last season with defensive injuries and will now look to add depth to avoid that issue in the future. Pearce slipped due to character concerns, but he has the talents of a top-10 pick in the draft. Assuming these character concerns never become an issue, this selection is a steal for Detroit.
  29. Washington Commanders
    • Derrick Harmon, Defensive Tackle, Oregon
      • Washington struggled to stop the run last season, but Harmon would quickly help mitigate those issues. The Commanders have not bolstered the defensive line as much as expected in free agency and now look to address these issues in the draft.
  30. Buffalo Bills
    • Landon Jackson, Edge, Arkansas
      • Every year, a few players make surprise appearances in the first round. This year, Jackson could be that player for the Bills. Jackson is one of the most athletic players in the draft, with consistent production at a high level. Meanwhile, Buffalo needs more explosive playmakers at nearly every spot on defense.
  31. Kansas City Chiefs
    • Donovan Jackson, Offensive Tackle, Ohio State
      • Kansas City needs help at both tackle and guard, and Jackson provides the versatility to help at both of these positions early in his career. Jackson initially started as a guard before taking over at left tackle when Josh Simmons went down for the year. This type of versatility has mattered to the Chiefs in the past and helps sway the team into this first-round selection.
  32. Philadelphia Eagles
    • Maxwell Hairston Cornerback, Kentucky
      • Hairston is one of the twitchiest defensive backs available in this draft and should fit perfectly into the Eagles’ young secondary. This selection will allow Philadelphia to keep Cooper DeJean in the slot with Hairston on the outside, creating a dynamic group of young and explosive cornerbacks next to Quinyon Mitchell.
