The great corporate migration continues, with Care.com announcing it will move its headquarters to Dallas.

The company announced its plans to move from its current home in Austin to Uptown Dallas. Care.com will take over 14,000 square feet in the One West Village office building.

“We see Dallas not just as our next stop, but our long-term home. This city has innovation baked into its DNA, making it the perfect place to grow our talented team alongside other online marketplace businesses in the area, to make a lasting impact on the local economy,” said Care.com’s Chief Human Resources Officer Wes Burke in a press release from the company.

The online platform connects caregivers with families requiring senior care, child care, pet care, special needs, housekeeping, and other services. Users benefit from a diverse network of help options while caregivers enjoy access to a wide range of opportunities.

Move.com’s CEO Brad Wilson and other company executives are expected to move to the Big D this spring, with the official corporate transition occurring soon afterward. The company plans to maintain its presence in Austin, New York, Connecticut, and Utah.

In January, The Dallas Express reported that Dallas was ranked the No. 1 city in the United States to relocate corporate headquarters. Dallas and the wider metroplex continue to attract companies because of the city’s favorable business environment, lack of corporate tax, and network of skilled talent.

A spokesperson for Care.com says the company plans to bring hundreds of jobs to Dallas in the coming years, with new hires expected in tech, HR, marketing, finance, product, and customer experience.

“Relocating our headquarters to Dallas is more than just a move – it’s fuel for our next chapter. As we tackle one of society’s most pressing challenges, joining a bustling tech and business ecosystem will help us further accelerate our mission to make finding care for loved ones simpler, faster, and more accessible, giving families peace of mind and caregivers greater job opportunities,” Wilson said in the company announcement.
