The Forest Hill Police Department has confirmed the identification of two suspects wanted in connection to the recent double shooting that killed 30-year-old Texas rapper G$ Lil Ronnie and his 5-year-old daughter, R’mani Sibley.
The suspects, 24-year-old Adonis Robinson and 21-year-old Jakobie Russell, are both originally from the Fort Worth area, according to a March 3 Forest Hills PD press release.
Law enforcement has issued capital murder warrants for their arrest and launched a manhunt for the pair, who remain on the run. Forest Hill PD is also urging the public to help locate the two men, with Police Chief David Hernandez calling on anyone with information to step forward.
“They’re scared. They’re cowards. They’re hiding. We ask the public, please, you know where they’re at? Let us know,” said Chief Hernandez.
The tragic shooting occurred on Monday at Slappy’s Car Wash in broad daylight, where surveillance footage obtained by TMZ shows G$ Lil Ronnie fleeing across the parking lot, chased by two armed men. His young daughter, R’mani, was killed while sitting inside a maroon Dodge Challenger after she was dropped off by her mother moments before the attack.
Police believe the shooting was targeted but have not disclosed details about the motive or whether the suspects and victims were acquainted, as previously reported by The Dallas Express.
The suspects are believed to have fled the scene in a white Kia, and the Forest Hill Police Department has issued a nationwide BOLO (Be On the Lookout) alert for the men.
“They are dangerous. They are armed. And we need you to please call 911 and let our police officers respond and take appropriate action,” Hernandez added.
Public records reveal that Robinson has a violent criminal history, including a 2019 conviction for the assault of a woman near Marine Creek Reservoir. Robinson is also a registered sex offender, according to Fox 4 KDFW.
While the police have not yet confirmed the relationship between the suspects and the victims, they are reviewing all aspects of the case, including G$ Lil Ronnie’s career in the music industry, as part of their ongoing investigation.
The double homicide marks the fourth and fifth killings in Forest Hill this year, a stark contrast to 2024, when the city had no reported homicides. However, police stress that the recent murders are not believed to be connected.
