Following a brief touch of spring last week, North Texas is reverting to the typical chilly weather expected in February this week.

Tuesday: Showers are likely, including possible thunderstorms before noon, with a high near 49°F and northeast winds of 5 to 10 mph. The chance of precipitation is 100%, with expected new rainfall of half to three-quarters of an inch. Tuesday night will continue to see likely showers after midnight, with clouds and lows around 45°F. Winds remain northeast at 5 to 10 mph, with a 70% chance of precipitation.

Wednesday: Showers and possible thunderstorms are likely before 9 AM, transitioning to more showers until noon. The high will be near 56°F, and gusty northwest winds could reach 20 mph. The chance of precipitation stands at 60%. On Wednesday night, expect mostly cloudy skies with a low of around 27°F and north winds around 10 mph.

Thursday: Partly sunny with a high near 43°F and north winds of 5 to 10 mph, followed by a mostly cloudy Thursday night with lows around 32°F.

Valentine’s Day/Friday: Partly sunny skies and a high near 56°F, with east winds shifting to the southeast in the afternoon. There’s a 20% chance of showers after midnight Friday night, with low temperatures around 48°F.

Saturday: There is a 40% chance of showers and partly sunny conditions with a high near 69°F. Then, Saturday night will be partly cloudy with a 20% chance of showers and lows around 28°F.

Sunday: Expected to be sunny with a high near 48°F.
