Guy Fieri cannot seem to get enough of North Texas. The eccentric television host is set to open the newest location of his chicken restaurant franchise here in Dallas.

On February 6, Chicken Guy! is set to open in the city’s Preston Hollow neighborhood. The chain, which boasts locations across the United States, was founded by Fieri and restauranteur Robert Earl. The Preston Hollow location will mark the chain’s first foray into Dallas.

While the menu can vary by location, you can expect items like the buffalo mac ‘n’ cheese sandwich, a stacked creation with fried chicken, macaroni and cheese, smoked bacon, and parmesan.

“Brined in fresh lemon juice, pickle brine and buttermilk, and infused with fresh herbs, these tenders deliver on flavor and texture. Choose from a wide array of sauces created by Chef Guy to enjoy with your meal and sides, and pair it all with Flavortown Shakes,” reads a description on the Chicken Guy! website.

In December, Fieri was in town for a fan meet-and-greet support for his tequila brand Santo Spirits, which he co-owns with Rock and Roll Hall of Famer Sammy Hager. Fieri also used the opportunity to film for his hit television series, Diners, Drive-ins, and Dives. The Food Network star was spotted at multiple city favorites, like Slow Bone, Starship Bagel, Hello Dumpling, and Angry Dog.

Brothers Kris and Ram Daswani are the local owners and operators of the new Dallas Chicken Guy! location. The two have plans to expand across the metroplex in the coming years.

This is not the first time Fieri has launched a restaurant in North Texas. In 2018, he opened Guy Fieri’s Taco join at Texas Live! In Arlington. Sadly, the taco spot has received mixed reviews. The restaurant currently has a score of 2.5 out of five stars on Google, with 168 ratings.
