The Play It Forward Foundation is celebrating the successful completion of its first year of fundraising, a milestone highlighted by impactful donations to three North Texas organizations that are making a significant difference in the lives of local youth and families.
The recipients of the foundation’s contributions include Majesty Outdoors, Traffick911, and The Mount Church Student Ministry, all of which are committed to improving the lives of individuals in need. Majesty Outdoors provides transformative outdoor experiences and mentorship for fatherless youth. Traffick911 is a leading force in the fight against human trafficking, offering critical support to survivors. Meanwhile, The Mount Church Student Ministry equips students with the tools they need to grow and lead with purpose.
“These donations are just the beginning of what we hope to accomplish,” said Blake Beavan, Co-Founder of the Play It Forward Foundation. “Our mission has always been to uplift youth and empower communities in need; we’re incredibly proud to partner with organizations that share our vision.”
The first year’s success is a direct result of the unwavering support from the foundation’s donors and local community members. With their help, the Play It Forward Foundation has laid the groundwork for creating lasting change in North Texas.
“Thanks to the generosity of our supporters, we’re able to pave the way for brighter futures,” said Dave Dickson, Co-Founder of the Play It Forward Foundation. “Together, we are creating meaningful change and empowering the next generation to thrive.”
As reported by The Dallas Express, the Play It Forward Foundation broke ground on their 122-acre sports complex in Roanoke on September 18 and expects to open to the public in late 2025.
