SmythOS, based in Dallas, has launched a new tool that allows users to create artificial intelligence agents without coding.

Known as Agent Weaver, the application enables users to describe their vision in simple language and then produces agents that can fulfill the desired requests.

“Say goodbye to manual coding. Build agents faster than ever. Describe what you need, and Agent Weaver builds it from your chat or image, using the best AI models and APIs for your task,” reads a description of the tool on the company’s website.

According to SmythOS Co-Founder and CTO Alexander De Ridder, the application is more than a simple AI tool. Instead, it is “an agent that builds agents,” incorporating numerous models, sources, and workflows into one visual interface. As a result, “businesses can finally realize scalable, reusable automation that actually delivers on the promise of AI,” De Ridder said in a December 11 statement.

North Texas continues to be a hub for artificial intelligence and the energy-intensive infrastructure required to support it. Earlier this year, The Dallas Express reported that Microsoft was investing $1.5 billion in G42, a tech holding company from the United Arab Emirates working to build an artificial intelligence supercomputer in Dallas.

Last month, The Dallas Express detailed plans for Core Scientific to spend $6 billion overhauling its Bitcoin mining facility in North Texas into a data center that will help power resource-intensive artificial intelligence. With the launch of Agent Weaver, North Texas has further solidified its reputation as an AI leader.

“Agent Weaver is the missing piece in accelerating AI adoption,” SmythOS Co-Founder and CEO Michael Umansky said.

“Instead of wrestling with complex build processes, businesses can now spin up tailored AI agents on-demand. It’s an entirely new way to integrate intelligent automation, letting teams solve challenges faster while reducing both development costs and operational overhead.”
