The Station, a $500 million mixed-use community in northeastern Collin County, is nearing completion.
The development, which is being developed by Dallas-based PMB Capital Investments LLC, features more than 1,000 residential units, retail space, restaurants, and a 34-acre park.
As reported in The Dallas Express, PMB is also involved in bringing a massive development to multiple plots of land within Veale Ranch, spanning parts of Tarrant and Parker Counties. That development will eventually result in 5,000 new homes and 1,000 acres of commercial property.
Roughly 90% of The Station’s apartment units are leased, and 275 single-family homes are completed and occupied. Homebuilders K. Hovnanian Homes and Ashton Woods are constructing the homes in the development, located in Sachse along the President George Bush Turnpike, between Miles Road and Merrit Road.
Hovnanian is one of the builders tasked with completing Heritage Ranch’s residential project in Celina, while Ashton Woods is one of several builders that secured a contract to help develop Bryson Ranch in Pilot Point, a city in Denton County.
The Station is slated to include 35,000 square feet of retail space and already includes tenants like The Brass Tap, Manny’s Tex Mex, Pho Station, Cold Stone Creamery, and Cane Rosso Pizza.
“Set within the serene Sachse landscape, you’ll find The Station, a mixed-use entertainment district evoking the vibrant heart of the city while paying respect to the suburb’s rustic roots. The district creates a harmonious balance between work, play and life – encompassing a rich tapestry of residential communities, retail spaces, restaurants and entertainment offerings — all surrounding Sachse’s 34-acre Heritage Park,” reads the description of the development’s website.
The development could eventually house corporate office space. Medical City Sachse and Evolve Biologics currently operate a 200,000-square-foot manufacturing facility in the neighborhood.
Starbucks, Chipotle, and 7-Eleven are expected to open next year in The Station. At full build-out, the development will boast around 400,000 square feet of commercial and retail space.
