Texas Coalition for Kids protested Higher Purpose Emporium, a witchcraft store, for hosting a “kid-friendly” pride costume event on October 26.

As previously reported by The Dallas Express, Higher Purpose Emporium has received backlash from the community.

The store is ”queer-owned” and offers services such as Spell Workings, Seeress Reading, and Cleansing, per its website.

“The freak left has stated over and over, ‘Hey, we are coming for the kids.’ It shouldn’t surprise anyone that these demented demons are inviting children to a sexualized event,” Tarrant County Republican Party Chairman Bo French previously told The Dallas Express.

“We peacefully protested this event because children should never be allowed to attend LGBT pride events, especially when Satanism and witchcraft are mixed in. The owners of Higher Purpose Emporium are actively harming children by exposing them to this type of disturbing content. The event should have been open to adults only,” PTK President Kelly Neidert told DX.

Others joined Neidert’s protest.

“We organized a prayer rally outside this event and called upon others to join us in peaceful protest for two reasons. The first is to unite Christians in spiritual warfare against new age/occult activities. We see this evil making a resurgence in modern culture, and Americans must step up to stop it before it deceives and harms others. We pray to not only banish these influences but also to convert and save those who are currently involved in them,” Andrew Lafuente told The Dallas Express.

“The second is to bring awareness to the broader public. Texas and its cities continue to be a battleground for our nation’s culture, and the traditional Christian values that built it are under constant threat. Many residents are still unaware of how entrenched and aggressive these anti-family agendas are, so it’s our duty to help them see so they can take action. Thankfully, we did receive numerous honks and comments of support from passing locals. This gives us hope that this fight is far from lost,” Lafuente added.

The event had banners such as “HPE Pagans & Witches & LGBTQ+ PRIDE” and rainbow flags with the satanic pentagram symbol.

People participating in the event wore hats with horns and masks and flew pride flags.

The Dallas Express reached out to Higher Purpose Emporium for comment but did not receive a response.
