The first Givenchy store in Texas has opened at NorthPark Center, marking the brand’s 10th freestanding location in the Americas.
The 5,600-square-foot luxury retail store officially opened on Friday and is located on the first floor of NorthPark Center between Dillard’s and Neiman Marcus.
Operations Manager Connor Falk said the response to the store’s opening has been well received, adding that its location within the mall near other upscale retailers such as Louis Vuitton and the soon-to-be-open Prada has attracted a lot of luxury shoppers.
The retail space underwent a $700,000 renovation earlier this year, as previously reported by The Dallas Express. The store’s design incorporates contrasting tones and materials, mixing matte and rough, industrial and natural. The stone-gray palette is brightened by tiger-print fabric on the seating upholstery.
“Dallas’s active social community, with their notable role in art and philanthropy and love for fashion, made the city a natural choice for Givenchy’s first store in Texas,” Valerie Leon, president of Givenchy’s Americas division, stated in a news release.
“We feel that NorthPark Center, with its elevated and engaged clientele, will be the ideal home for introducing our brand to the market,” added Leon.
The iconic French fashion house brand was founded in 1952 by Hubert de Givenchy. Along with his muse, actress Audrey Hepburn, he created a style that would “redefine the standards of elegance.” Today, the brand continues to combine “fresh modernity and timeless elegance.”
Givenchy offers ready-to-wear clothing and accessories for women and men, as well as seasonal collections. Men will find an elegant selection of suits, shirts, and accessories. The women’s line includes everything from eveningwear to denimwear, along with shoes, boots, handbags, and accessories.
