In an exciting blend of art, sports, and love for the City of Dallas, the Texas Rangers have kicked off a scavenger hunt that has fans buzzing.

The team has hidden 25 bronze baseball sculptures throughout the metroplex to celebrate both the game and a special piece of local artistry.

These unique baseballs are lost-wax cast bronze sculptures titled “Baseball Forever,” created by renowned North Texas artist Brad Oldham. Each identical baseball is meticulously crafted and features the Rangers’ City Connect logo.

But what truly sets these pieces apart is the miniature inside: a version of Oldham’s infamous “Traveling Man,” complete with a Rangers hat, positioned on home plate. The original “Traveling Man” can be found in the vibrant Deep Ellum district, serving as a testament to the rich history of one of the City’s most electric neighborhoods.

The sculptures are theirs to keep for the participants who find them, and they will undoubtedly become treasured family heirlooms. As of Tuesday morning, 14 out of the 25 sculptures had been discovered, according to Fox 4 KDFW.

To aid in the search, the Texas Rangers have provided registrants with a map that narrows down the locations of the remaining baseballs. Interested participants can sign up on the Rangers’ official website to receive the guide.

If you are lucky enough to find one of these bronze gems, the Rangers request that you fill out a form on their website to report your discovery and share the excitement of the search with other fans.

Participants can register for the event online through the Rangers’ official website. With a few bronze baseballs still out there, the hunt is still on!
