The Dallas Summer Boat Show is kicking off next Thursday at Dallas Market Hall and running through the weekend.

It is the largest boating show in North Texas, featuring hundreds of vendors showcasing a wide range of personal watercraft, fishing boats, ski boats, pontoons, and the latest in marine technology and equipment.

In addition to boats, the show offers family-friendly activities, interactive exhibits, and the opportunity to examine the newest boating tech and accessories. According to the event, attendees can look forward to finding great deals on boating gear and related services, making it a perfect event for both seasoned boaters and those new to the boating lifestyle.

Organizers held a boat show in March earlier in the year. Such events are reportedly capitalizing on boat-related spending that ticked up during the COVID-19 lockdowns.

“The nearly 1 million people who purchased a boat for the first time during the height of the pandemic continued to spend record time on the water in 2023, helping drive an economic impact of $230 billion,” said Frank Hugelmeyer, president of the National Marine Manufacturers Association, ahead of the March show, per CW 33. “As we enter 2024, we expect Americans’ desire to be near water to continue as more people seek ways to prioritize health and wellness and enhance their quality of life, which has the industry focused on continued innovation and ensuring greater access to our public waters.”

The hours of operation on Thursday will be 3 p.m. to 8 p.m. On Friday, the show will open at 12 p.m. and close at 8 p.m. The hours will be 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. on Saturday and 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Sunday.

Tickets are $15 for adults, $8 for children ages 5-13, and free for those under the age of 5.
