Dallas Cowboys wide receiver Ceedee Lamb has announced that he will host multiple youth football camps across Texas in the coming weeks as he prepares for the upcoming 2024-25 season.
Lamb posted on his Instagram account to detail three youth camps that will take place across the Lone Star State, writing that he is “excited to announce my youth football camp(s).”
These camps are for all children between 6 and 16 years of age, with the first camp taking place on Tuesday from 2 p.m. to 6 p.m. at the Round Rock Multipurpose Facility in Round Rock, Texas.
The second camp will take place in Richmond, Texas, at John and Randolph Foster High School on Wednesday from 2 p.m. until 5 p.m.
The third and final camp is scheduled for July 20 at Lamar High School in Arlington from 9 a.m. until 1 p.m., with the first hour dedicated to “camper check-in, group assignments, & sponsor giveaways.”
The camp in Richmond is free for those who were able to sign up before it sold out, though the other two camps will come with a significant price tag.
According to the Flex Work website, one ticket to attend the Arlington camp will cost $250 and include a camp team photo with Lamb, a “Limited-edition CeeDee Lamb FlexWork Football Camp T-shirt,” and undisclosed “take-home items” from vendors.
These items will also be available to those attending the Round Rock and Richmond football camps.
However, the camp website also states that “Prices are Scaled and Subjective to Increase Based on Availability,” meaning that the price could change as the camp gets closer.
Although some have suggested that Lamb may discuss his ongoing contract discussions with the Cowboys during one of the camps, the wide receiver posted on X, formerly Twitter, to shut down that idea.
“I’m not speaking about any contract negotiations, if that’s your questions.. You’ll get 0 answers. It’s about the kids,” he wrote in the post.
Lamb’s comments come as the wide receiver recently opted against attending the Cowboys’ mandatory minicamp in an effort to remain healthy during his contract discussions, in which he could lobby to become the highest-paid wide receiver in NFL history, as previously reported by The Dallas Express.
Dallas could reset the market at multiple positions over the next two offseasons, with Lamb, quarterback Dak Prescott, and linebacker Micah Parsons potentially signing extensions.
While it remains unclear whether Dallas will offer contract extensions to all three players, acting sooner rather than later would benefit a franchise looking to remain competitive in coming years.
