Dallas has one of the highest birth rates in the country, according to a new study.

The SmartAsset study looked at 37 of the largest cities across the country to find where the highest birth rates were.

The cities were ranked in three separate categories: birth rate (the percentage of women aged 15 to 50 who had a child in 2022), average family size, and the overall number of women ages 15 to 50 who gave birth in 2022.

According to the study, the average rate of women aged 15 to 50 having a child across the nation in 2022 was 5.2%, compared to 5.0% in major cities. Likewise, the average family size across the nation was 3.11, compared to 3.15 in major cities.
