Despite the population stagnation and criminal activity emanating from the DFW’s flagship city, other parts of the metroplex continue to flourish and attract new businesses and developments, the latest of which is Frisco.

The North Dallas suburb has drawn a number of high-profile restaurant tenants to The Star in Frisco, adding to other arrivals that have been streaming into Collin County, as previously reported by The Dallas Express.

Dallas County, on the other hand, has seen some thousands leave amid high crime, burdensome regulations, and rampant homelessness.

Here are some of the latest offerings heading to The Star in Frisco, according to a report by WFAA:

“A restaurant and Japanese bar, Wabi House, is slated to open at The Star at the end of May, marking its third location in the Metroplex. The restaurant is expected to have its soft opening May 27, with a grand opening expected May 31.

“Rachel’s Kitchen, a cafe and casual eatery, is also slated to open sometime this month, bringing more lunchtime options to the district.”

Cities like Frisco will likely continue to benefit from the California refugees looking for greener pastures, at least until officials in Dallas get their act together and make the city an attractive place to start a business or raise a family.
