USA Film Festival

When: April 17-26

What: Two dozen programs will be presented at the 54th Annual USA Film Festival. Expect tributes to the greats, like Martin Sheen and Billy Dee Williams.

Main St. Fort Worth Arts Festival

When: April 18-21

What: Hundreds of visual artists, local food, craft beer, and live music from the likes of Shinyribs and Taylor Pace.

Ennis Bluebonnet Trails Festival

When: April 19-21

What: Listen to live music while enjoying great food among the bluebonnets in the festival dedicated to the state’s flower.

Spring Japanese Festival

When: April 20-21

What: Performances by Taiko drumming group, the Dallas Sumo Club, and more, celebrating the Japanese Gardens during the annual Japanese Spring Festival, according to CultureMap Dallas.

Thin Line Fest

When: April 24-28

What: Think Line Fest, or TL Fest for short, is a festival of film and music and Texas’s oldest documentary film festival.

Where: City-wide, Denton.

Dallas International Film Festival

When: April 25-May 2

What: Over 100 films will be screened at the 18th annual festival.

Where: Violet Crown Dallas, 3699 McKinney Ave.

Southlake Women’s Club presents Art in the Square

When: April 26-28

What: The artwork of 150 artists, along with pieces from Northeast Tarrant County students, will be displayed at the 24th Art in the Square, a top-ranked, juried art festival. Alongside the art, expect food, music, drinks, and activities for little ones.

City of Grand Prairie presents Main Street Fest

When: April 26-28

What: The Main Street Fest features arts and crafts, food and drinks, carnival rides, and live music from Mark Chesnutt, Parliament Funkadelic featuring George Clinton, and others.

Festival of Joy

40th Annual Main Street Fest: A Craft Brew Experience

When: May 17-19

What: This family-friendly festival features live entertainment, golf-themed activities, a KidZone, carnival rides and games, and other activities.

Tacos & Tequila Festival (Fort Worth)

When: May 18

What: More tacos and more tequila, this time in Forth Worth. Ludacris, Ashanti, Xzibit, and other hip-hop legends will be performing.
