What better way to celebrate the start of Spring than with a box of brightly decorated rings of fried sweetened dough slathered in sugary icing?

Krispy Kreme introduced four new mini-donuts on March 19, which are available for a limited time only at participating shops across the U.S.

The new Spring Minis include the Robin’s Egg, an original glazed donut dipped in teal icing and daisy sprinkles, and the Strawberry Egg, an original glazed donut dipped in strawberry icing with yellow and teal drizzles.

Perhaps the most eye-catching are the remaining two mini-donuts in the new Spring collection.

The Hatching Chick is an original glazed donut dipped in bright yellow icing with white nonpareils and finished with dots of chocolate and orange icing to make the chick’s “eyes” and “beak.” The Mini Birds Nest is an original glazed donut with a chocolate buttercream “nest” that holds two Cadbury Mini Eggs, topped with spring sprinkles.

“We’re excited to help our fans ‘hatch happy’ with these all-new Spring Minis — from the first day of Spring through Easter Sunday,” David Skena, Global Chief Brand Officer for Krispy Kreme, said in a news release.

The new collection is available in-shop and for pickup or delivery.

Krispy Kreme has been serving up donuts since 1937. Headquartered in Charlotte, North Carolina, the company now operates in more than 35 countries. While best known for its iconic Original Glazed Donut, the brand rolls out limited-time holiday donuts all year round.
