The Chefs for Farmers (CFF) food and wine event will make its return this November after the event went virtual last year due to the pandemic.
This year the three-day event is back in full force and ready to celebrate its tenth year. Chefs for Farmers celebrate farm-grown foods while appreciating the talents of great chefs who bring dishes of artwork to the table.
More than 40 chefs will take part in the event. The line-up of chefs includes Alex Seidel from Fruition Restaurant, Amber Fletcher from Fletcher’s, Antonio Rendon of Nobu Dallas, Arnulfo Sanchez from Vaqueros Texas Bar-B-Q, Ashley Henderson of Tipsy Bun, and many more.
The event kicks off on Nov. 4 with an already sold-out event featuring Chef Peja Kristin, who will host a CFF’s Mot Hai Ba Dinner. Mot Hai Ba stands for one, two, three. Chef Kristin makes it look easy as he uses Texas ingredients to create Vietnamese dishes but with French-derived techniques.
On Nov. 6, Chef for Farmers will host the event Farm Tours with Chefs. Ticket buyers can take a bus tour to stop at Harvest Seasonal Kitchen, Profound Foods, and Girl With Flour. The tour includes drinks and dishes crafted by Chefs Andrea Shackleford, Joel Orsini, and Erika Radtke.
On Nov. 6, the Devour Street Food Festival will also take place. This year is the first time the street festival will include a variety of street foods, a DJ for entertainment, cocktails, and more. The festival will be held at The Exchange Hall in Dallas.
On Nov. 7, the Chef for Farmers will host its main and final event at Dallas Heritage Village. Patrons can sample food and drink from local wineries, distilleries, farmers, chefs, restaurants, and more. The “Ultimate Cocktail Experience” will be making western cocktails with entertainment and activities for all.
