It is the first year for Frisco’s big Halloween event, Frights’n Lights, and organizers plan to extend the spooky holiday until the beginning of November. The event is organized by the Peerless Production Group.
“We are thrilled to debut Frights’n Lights Frisco this fall and bring families across North Texas the USA’s No. 1 family Halloween event,” Warren Michael Lyng, the vice president of Peerless Production Group, shared with the Dallas News.
“With just the right balance of silly and spooky, we’ve created a truly unique fall attraction that puts fun before fear and features the largest and safest trick-or-treat trail in Texas.”
While most haunted houses and hayrides will close up shop the night of Halloween, Frights N’ Lights will extend the fun up until Nov. 6. The event is currently open at Frisco’s Rider Field, formerly the Dr. Pepper Ballpark.
The park is decorated with dozens of lanterns, illuminated carved pumpkins, and also features spooky games, carnival rides, a scavenger hunt, a trick-or-treat trail, a Headless Horseman’s Haunted Hay Maze, and more. Food, drink, candy, and treats will also be available for visitors.
“We bring Halloween to the next level,” Tori Block, of Peerless Production Group, shared with WFAA. “We wanna extend Halloween as long as we can.”
Frights’n Lights prides itself on being enjoyable and not scary for children of all ages with hours of fun to be had for families looking to celebrate the Halloween season. They are the happy medium between pumpkin patches and scary haunted houses.
The event is located at 7300 Roughriders Trail in Frisco. Tickets start at $14.99 for kids $19.99 for adults.
VIP tickets are also available that give patrons access to the trail, the VIP lounge, treats and more. Hours vary. View the schedule at the Frights’n Lights website.
