The restaurant Mi Cocina will open next Monday at Klyde Warren Park. It is the twenty-second location from the M Crowd Restaurant Group.
This location’s unique design encompasses 11,000 square feet and will feature three different areas; a dining area, a bar area called The Bar on the Park, and a kiosk area named La Parada.
“Mi Cocina has a rich history in Dallas, and the opening of this unique landmark location coincides beautifully with the celebration of our 30-year anniversary serving our loyal supporters,” CEO Edgar Guevara shared when speaking with Dallas Magazine.
All three areas will showcase the “essence of Mexico” as they each have a unique look with decor from local artisans. The areas will also serve different functions.
The Mi Cocina dining room will serve its traditional menu of appetizers that include nachos, quesadillas with entrees of tacos, tex-mex basics, and more.
La Parada will serve as a take-out area for those looking to take Mi Cocina home. The restaurant’s special margaritas, a new creation called MiCo, will be available on the kiosk menu.
“[La Parada] will serve our cheeseburger, brisket grilled cheese, and a great margarita that we’ve created just for the park,” Guevara says.
The Bar on the Park will offer patrons a different selection with smaller plates and a separate selection of cocktails. The bar will also welcome those who are visiting Klyde Warren for events.
Both Mi Cocina and the Klyde Warren Park are pleased to be sharing the same grounds as they hope to work together to supply patrons with good drinks, good food, and fun.
“We’re thrilled to bring together two iconic Dallas brands in Mi Cocina and Klyde Warren Park and to offer our patrons exceptional Tex-Mex cuisine while they enjoy the Park’s stunning views,” Kit Sawers, Klyde Warren Park president, shared of Mi Cocina’s move into the space previously occupied by Savor.
