86 Dallas Restaurants Sport Flawless Health Scores

The Dallas Express continues its monthly series examining health code inspections for eateries in Dallas County, showcasing the ones passing with flying colors and those falling behind. 

This month’s feature of the top-scoring restaurants contains data gathered between November 15 and December 14.

City health inspectors grade the city’s eating establishments on a 100-point scale. According to the City of Dallas, those who earn a score of 70 or above are considered passing, while those with a score of 69 or below are considered failing.

Restaurants with scores of 80 to 100 are only required to submit to regular inspections every six months. Entities scoring between 70 and 79 will require re-inspection within 30 days, and those scoring from 60 to 69 must submit for review within ten days or face closure. 

Any entities scoring below 60 require immediate closure, with a re-inspection required before the restaurant can reopen.

Of the 752 entities inspected by county officials between November 15 and December 14, only 86, or just over 11%, had perfect health inspection scores. The list of entities that received perfect scores are as follows:
