New Jersey-based Patriot Pickle is opening a distribution facility at the International Business Center in Garland.

According to a state filing, construction is scheduled to begin this month at the 69,000-square-foot warehouse on South International Road. The estimated cost is just over $4.2 million, and the anticipated delivery date is August 1, 2024.

Lincoln Property Company of Dallas owns the site, the filing shows. A spokesperson did not immediately return a message seeking comment about the project.

Patriot Pickle has provided its products to the food-service industry since 2004, according to its website.

“Patriot manufactures a wide range of pickles — from our classic kosher dill to our popular sweet horseradish chips. We also offer private labeling for customers who would like to expand their brand recognition. For those seeking an all-natural option, Patriot has a variety of ‘Clean Label’ products available.”

The company’s products include kosher dill, full sour, sweet horseradish, hot, half sour, and sweet candied, as well as pickled green tomatoes and sauerkraut. Among its brands are PickleAde, KZ Brand, Natural Harvest, and Regal Crown.

Earlier this month, San Francisco-based H.I.G. Capital acquired Patriot Pickle from Swander Pace Capital.

“Patriot Pickle’s impressive platform has grown significantly over the years by delivering on its commitment to the highest quality pickles and best-in-class service,” said Justin Reyna, managing director at H.I.G. Capital, in a news release. “We are pleased to partner with Bill, Adam, and the Patriot management team and look forward to supporting the Company in its organic and acquisition-driven growth initiatives.”

H.I.G. is working with the current management team “to help accelerate the company’s successful growth trajectory,” it said in the release.
