Construction of a 349-unit multifamily property is expected to begin in April at Harvest — a master-planned community developed across the neighboring cities of Argyle and Northlake.
The apartments will be built in a mixed-use section of the 1,800-acre Hillwood Communities development on the corner of Homestead Way and Harvest Way. A Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation filing shows an anticipated delivery date of March 2026.
At build-out, Harvest will offer 4,000 homes ranging in price from nearly $400,000 to $900,000, built by Taylor Morrison, Toll Brothers, Tri Pointe Homes, Highland Homes, Drees Custom Homes, Coventry Homes, David Weekley Homes, CB JENI Homes, and BB Living.
The development is served by Argyle West Elementary School and Lance Thompson Elementary School.
“At the heart of the community, a picturesque 1.5-mile Central Park connects residents with amenities and each other — sparking interactions and cultivating community at every turn,” reads the website.
Harvest amenities include a resort pool, children’s splash pool, fishing ponds, fitness center, coffee bar, basketball and bocce ball courts, hike and bike trails, lap pool, playgrounds, grills, gardens, and orchards. The multifamily property will be built with its own amenity space, according to the state filing.
Dallas’ Hillwood Communities has developed more than 100 master-planned communities, including Pecan Square in Northlake, Union Park in Little Elm, Lilyana in Celina, Liberty in Melissa, and Treeline in Justin.
JHP Architecture/Urban Design of Dallas is listed as the design firm on the state filing. Its portfolio includes projects in Dallas, Allen, Fort Worth, Mansfield, Frisco, Grand Prairie, Aubrey, Arlington, Lewisville, Garland, Flower Mound, Plano, McKinney, and Richardson.
