A Dallas developer plans to start construction next summer on a 324-unit apartment building in McKinney.
Trinity Falls Multifamily will be built at Trinity Falls Parkway and Weston Road, according to a state filing. With a projected construction cost of $46 million, the nearly 383,000-square-foot project is scheduled to begin in July. It has an estimated delivery date of September 2026.
The residential concept is part of the 2,000-acre development Trinity Falls, where six homebuilders are offering floor plans ranging in price from over $300,000 to more than $900,000, including those for residents ages 55 and older. The property is near the 350-acre B.B. Owen Park and includes a pool, fitness center, catering kitchen, event space, splash pad, tricycle track, playground, and dog park.
Part of McKinney ISD, Frazier Elementary School has opened at Trinity Falls. It is the district’s 22nd elementary school. The school was built to help alleviate overcrowding and “put the district in a position to accommodate increased student enrollment in this area,” said McKinney ISD.
Trinity Falls Multifamily is part of the Provident Realty Advisors portfolio that includes such North Texas developments as Preston Hollow Ridge, Waterview Apartments, Vidorra, Hyde Park at Montford, Lakepoint at Los Colinas, Twin Creeks Crossing, Mercer Crossing, Plano Gateway, Paloma Creek, and The Katy.
The Dallas-Fort Worth area is one of the biggest markets for apartment buildings, with more than 70,000 units under construction, according to The Dallas Morning News.
Architecture Demarest of Dallas is listed as the design firm on the Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation filing. In North Texas, its portfolio includes properties in Fort Worth, Richardson, Dallas, Denton, Grand Prairie, Addison, Arlington, and Irving.
