The founders of Patriot Mobile, the Grapevine-based self-described Christian conservative cell phone company, have received the Salt and Light Award for Christian Leadership from the National Association of Christian Lawmakers.

“We are honored to be recognized in this way, and we give all the glory to God,” said co-founder and CEO Glenn Story, per a press release sent to The Dallas Express. “Patriot Mobile just celebrated our ten-year anniversary, and we are humbled and grateful for this journey God has led us on.”

Glenn’s wife and Patriot Mobile COO, Jenny Story, added, “We are proud supporters of the National Association of Christian Lawmakers.”

“We’re honored to be here among the nation’s most dedicated Christian lawmakers, Christian and Jewish faith leaders, and conservative champions,” she said.

The award was presented at the National Association of Christian Lawmakers’ 2023 Annual Meeting and Awards Gala, held this year at the Museum of the Bible in Washington, D.C.

NACL founder and president Jason Rapert, former Arkansas State Senator, told The Dallas Express that “the Salt and Light Award for Christian Business Leadership is awarded by the NACL to recognize business leaders that exemplify a strong Christian witness in the marketplace.”

“With Patriot Mobile, they pride themselves on being a Christian conservative wireless provider and they have done yeoman’s work over the past 10 years in supporting good causes in the Christian community all across the country,” he explained. “The word of God says that we are to be salt and light. We felt it was very obvious that Glenn and Jenny Story are great recipients of that.”

Rapert added that this year marks the first time the NACL has awarded the Salt and Light award, making the Storys the first recipients of the award.

Patriot Mobile is based in Grapevine and prides itself on conservative Christian values. The company recently celebrated its 10-year anniversary, as reported by The Dallas Express.

Patriot Mobile has been involved in political activism throughout the metroplex, especially in regard to public schools. The company’s political action committee has worked to appoint right-leaning candidates to school boards across the Dallas-Fort Worth area.

Last year, Patriot Mobile donated signs with the national motto “In God We Trust” to schools in Southlake’s Carroll ISD. However, other local stakeholders have pushed back against Patriot Mobile’s initiative, as reported by The Dallas Express.
