From Mr. Bull’s High Striker to Daddy Pig’s Roller Coaster, the Peppa Pig Theme Park in North Richland Hills will feature five rides when it opens next year.

The theme park will include a water play area and seven themed playscapes. The other rides are Grampy Rabbitt’s Dinosaur Adventure, Grandad Dog’s Pirate Boat Ride, and Peppa Pig’s Balloon Ride.

On Mr. Bull’s High Striker, “once the hammer hits the bell,” riders will “bounce up to the sky.” Grampy Rabbit’s Dinosaur Adventure features a friendly dinosaur that takes little visitors and their parents on prehistoric discoveries around the Grampy Rabbit’s Dinosaur Park. On Grandad Dog’s Pirate Boat Ride, those aboard sail with Grandad Dog to find his hidden treasure.

Peppa Pig’s Balloon Ride requires visitors to “hold on tight as you soar into the sky” on this aerial carousel ride, and those who take Daddy Pig’s Roller Coaster will hop into his “iconic red car” for a “curvy exploration of Daddy Pig’s new shortcut.”

“Designed to be the ultimate experience for little ones, the new theme park combines interactive rides and themed playgrounds with character shows and an indoor cinema for climate-controlled entertainment,” according to Merlin Entertainments’ news release.

British company Merlin Entertainments owns Peppa Pig Theme Park and other global attractions such as SEA LIFE Aquariums, LEGOLAND, and Madame Tussauds.

In June, officials broke ground on the new 14-acre park at 8851 26 Boulevard, once home to Mountasia Family Fun Center. The other Peppa Pig Theme Park is in Winter Haven, Florida.

“Every corner of the charming new park is crafted with preschoolers in mind, from their first roller coaster rides and fairground games with the whole family, to a pedal path adventure built just for kids, and a colorful splash pad that celebrates ‘muddy puddles’ jumping fun,” according to the release.

McKinney-based Hoar Construction is building the $17 million park that will also feature Peppa’s Pedal Bike Tour and George’s Tricycle Trail, Fun Fair, George’s Fort, Grandpa Pig’s Greenhouse, Peppa Pig’s Treehouse, Rebecca Rabbit’s Playground, Madame Gazelle’s Nature Trail, Mr. Potato’s Showtime Arena and The Cinema.
