Crow Holdings has purchased a large tract of land near Dallas’ Design District. The property, an almost 37-acre vacant piece of land, is located near Irving Boulevard and Inwood Road on Conveyor Lane.

According to tax records, the town of Highland Park has owned the property for decades, which is zoned for industrial purposes. Crow Holdings acquired the land from Highland Park.

The land is one of the most prominent undeveloped properties in the area northwest of downtown. It is next to the Trinity River and situated amidst a combination of industrial, showroom, and retail buildings.

This is not the first time Crow Holdings will be investing in Dallas. The unit of investor and developer has a track record of investing in new industrial and apartment projects in Dallas. It has also made sizable investments in the area northwest of downtown in the past.

The last decade has seen Dallas’ Design District and nearby Southwestern Medical District northeast of Stemmons Freeway’s widespread redevelopment. From new urban housing to commercial and medical projects, the area has seen several redevelopments that have impacted the area’s ratings in the real estate market.
