Dallas will soon see the launch of Electric Shuffle, a gaming themed bar originating from London. Electric Shuffle will open in Deep Ellum this fall. This will be the bar’s first location in the United States.

The Electric Shuffle bar features high tech shuffle board and bocce games as well as DJs, music, and drinks. On weekends, the bar will also be open for brunch.

For those who are not familiar with the game of shuffle board, players push weighted discs down a painted court with the purpose landing in a scoring zone. The bar version of the game is played on a table and not on the floor. Instead of using a stick to slide the discs, players in the bar version will use their hands to push the discs into the score zone. Electronic screens keep score for the players and the location of the discs.

The UK’s original Electric Shuffle bar is currently open in the Canary Wharf district of London. Similar to the UK version, the Dallas location will offer small appetizers for patrons to share while gaming. Electric Shuffle will also offer bottomless pizza during their Shuffleboard Power Hour. The drink list will include local beers, craft cocktails, as well as spritzers.

Electric Shuffle’s US CEO Gene Ball shared his excitement in a press release. “The neighborhood’s mix of culture, philanthropy, arts, and innovation embody exactly who we are at Electric Shuffle.”

Per the US website, Electric Shuffle promises a fun time for all.

“We’ve reimagined shuffleboard, added delicious food and craft cocktails and layered on our award-winning design to create a breath-taking venue that’s waiting to be discovered. Whether you’re toasting Tuesday, kicking off your weekend with a brunch like no other, celebrating with the team, or grabbing drinks with friends, we’ve got you covered,” the site shared.

Electric Shuffle will open at 2615 Elm Street in Dallas this October.
