Fort Worth Country Day track star Henry Lynn has signed to attend the University of Chicago.
Lynn recently joined three other Falcon student athletes in officially signing letters of intent, joining swimmer Laney Bagwell (women’s crew team at Colby College), swimmer Reese Nelson (Washington and Lee University) and field hockey player Ileana Rodriguez (Haverford College).
“Congratulations to these student-athletes as they compete at the next level,” the school said in its Facebook post.
Lynn heads to the University of Chicago amid much fanfare after having been named a candidate in the 2021 U.S. Presidential Scholars Program, widely considered “one of the highest honors bestowed upon graduating seniors.”
Back in 2017, Lynn also competed in the USA Track and Field events in several distance events.
