Tuesday’s cloud coverage will increase as tropical moisture from the south moves into Dallas, offering highs in the mid to upper 80s, according to CBS News Texas.

Partly sunny skies with the possibility of scattered showers south of I-20 will begin later Tuesday evening; however, chances of measurable rain will not arrive until mid-next week.

Thursday will be the warmest day of the week, with highs near 90. Expect a cold front to come into the metroplex on Friday, picking up winds from the northwest and dropping temperatures to the low 80s.

Saturday will bring sunny skies and high temperatures in the low to mid-70s, with evening lows in the mid-50s.

As the front passes through Dallas, the weekend will offer cooler temperatures to enjoy city happenings such as the State Fair of Texas, going on now through October 22.
