Texas’s largest science fiction, fantasy, comics, horror, anime, and gaming event returns to the Kay Bailey Hutchinson Convention Center on Sept. 17-19.
With attendance expected to reach more than 60,000, FAN EXPO is the place to be to meet stars, wear your favorite character’s costume, and meet people from around the U.S. who share your fandom.
Expo’s main events include celebrity guests with stars such as Zachary Levi of SHAZAM!, Wayne Knight of Seinfeld and Jurassic Park, Ray Fisher of Justice League and Cyborg, William Shatner of Star Trek, Kate Flannery of The Office, and James Marsters of Buffy the Vampire Slayer. Celebs will be available for photos and autograph sessions during the event.
Participants can compete for cosplay glory at the FAN EXPO Dallas Cosplay Craftsmanship Cup. There will even be a Cosplay Red Carpet for everyone to see your costume without the pressure of competing for the cup.
Thousands of retailers will descend on the convention center offering everything imaginable in comics, anime, gaming, science fiction, and horror. If it is available, you can purchase it at the expo.
Artist Alley provides a place where indie meets professionals. This artsy area will be packed with pencilers, inkers, and writers who create comics, graphic novels, and much more.
While you may not recognize their faces, you will know their voices. Voice actors who give life to your favorite animated characters will be in attendance for autographs and photos.
Numerous panels, workshops, and seminars will take place, including hands-on activities, fan club presentations, and screening rooms to view programming from every fandom.
