Patriot Mobile, a Grapevine-based Christian wireless provider, will be unveiling a custom hood design for Rick Ware Racing and J.J. Yeley’s No.15 car at the AutoTrader EchoPark Automotive 400 NASCAR Cup Series playoff race at Texas Motor Speedway later this month.

Designed by Patriot’s creative team, the hood will reflect the company’s dedication to supporting American military members and first responders. The hood is being donated to Folds of Honor, an organization that aids families and children of deceased or disabled military and first responders through scholarships and ensures “those who protect our freedoms and our families will know they are not forgotten.”

“When Patriot Mobile called us and asked if we would accept this hood design donation, we were thrilled,” Lt. Col. Danm Rooney, founder of Folds of Honor, said in a press release. “NASCAR fans are patriotic Americans who support our military and first responders. We appreciate Patriot Mobile for giving Folds of Honor this visibility.”

“This new hood design will amplify the Folds of Honor branding and mission to more than 75,000 NASCAR fans in the stands and millions of viewers across America and worldwide,” Patriot Mobile CEO Glenn Story added. “The hood is one of the most valuable advertising assets in NASCAR, and we want to lift up the Folds of Honor mission and encourage others to do so as well.”

Patriot Mobile began partnering with Rick Ware Racing earlier this year, unveiling previous custom hoods for cars in races in Atlanta and Pocono races to promote awareness of human trafficking, as well as a custom hood honoring a fallen Army staff sergeant at Charlotte Motor Speedway in May — all at Yeley’s request. It is the company’s first partnership with a NASCAR team.

“Rick Ware Racing is a like-minded organization, so it was a natural fit,” Patriot Mobile chief communications officer Leigh Wambsganss told The Dallas Express. “J.J. Yeley is deeply rooted in the same Christian conservative beliefs. His commitment to faith, family, and freedom is an inspiration to NASCAR fans across the country and to us as well.”

“Not only am I so proud to promote Patriot Mobile due to our collective commitment to faith, family, and freedom,” Yeley said in the press release, “I’m honored to support America’s military and first responder families in this way. This is a very special donation to a nonprofit that truly helps families of our nation’s heroes.”

The AutoTrader EchoPark Automotive 400 will be held at Texas Motor Speedway on Sunday, September 24, as the beginning race for the “Round of 12.” A champion will be crowned at the NASCAR Cup Series Championship at Phoenix Raceway on November 5.
