The highly anticipated FlowaPalooza is back at Epic Waters Indoor Waterpark in Grand Prairie, promising two days of competitive surfing and family-oriented activities.
Epic Waters has a FlowRider Double, meaning the surfing competition will offer double the action by featuring two lanes at once.
Since 2019, the annual two-day festival has centered around competitors of all ages and skill levels, duking it out on the FlowRider, a premier surf-simulating machine.
Last year FlowaPalooza took place over three days in early October, bringing guests a thrilling show of surfing, live music entertainment, and more.
This year’s installment will take place at Epic Waters located at 2970 Epic Place on September 23-24, from 12 p.m. to 10 p.m. on Saturday and from 12 p.m. to 6 p.m. on Sunday.
Admission is free thanks to sponsorships by CELSIUS, a manufacturer of fitness drinks, and other partners like Pepsi and Playgrand Adventures.
Festival goers can enjoy an array of activities like zorb ball racing, laser tag, rock climbing, and more games at the Family Village.
Live music performances by artists including David Lee Garza Y Los Musicales, Lan Law, the Conjunto Bandits, ZZ Tejas, and more can also be enjoyed on the Grand Lawn at EpicCentral.
Don’t forget to check out some of the acts of the Epic Circus, including the Flying Cortes, offering high-flying excitement by performing tricks from their aerial trapezes.
Food and beverages will be available for purchase from food trucks, including Doss Taste Budz, which offers tacos, burritos, and more, and Jeremiah’s Italian Ice.
As for the main event, those wishing to compete in the surfing competition can purchase competitor passes for $150 plus taxes and fees.
Pass holders will be able to compete in two divisions, receive a FlowaPalooza t-shirt and SwagBag, have access to the VIP Lounge, as well as benefit from many other perks.
VIP passes are also available for those not wishing to compete for $110 plus taxes and fees.
